hello. kks, I promised so i shall do it and be nice and post about it.. btw,it was wild, crazy and fun, A ROARING SUCESS, dun u think??

On 21/6/2006, It's Viva Musica day.. And we had to report to skool by 1230pm.. But be 4 dat, I had to be at bedok swimming pool for my Lifesaving 1 and 2 test, But dunno why, i am not that nervous... Haha.. The 1st event for that test is EAR( Expired Air resusitation).. haha, CPR is on lifesavin 3... Then walao.. The tester damn strict la.. But haha, luckily, all managed to pass.. After that, have to act as the 4 types of casualties in the water- Weak, non, injured and unconcius swimmer... Easy cheesecake la.. haha..The rest was quite all right la, got stuff like The reaching aids test and theory test(Quite easy la).. But there is 1 that 1 almost do wrong.. That is The saving of an agressive casualty.. I forgot to ask hiim whether he can swim.. Shucks.. But it's ok.. I think the tester didnt mind..then It was all over, Time test finish: 11.40pm!! AAAA!! goin to be late.. The rest of the students of the class is going to Mr mok's chalet(my swimming instructor's chalet) to go kayaking( man, i had to miss out on the whole chalet).. My mum and youingest sis went to pick me up from the pool, and we took a cab down to skool... They bought for me 1 subway burger for my lunch... How nice la.. haha.. Cos their burgers are all expensive..

When i reached skool, it was wad time?? U guess?? It was already 12.10.. Phew.. Luckily.. I thought I was gonna be late liao... Walked into the band room with my band tee and school pants on...and faster helped to move up the perc instruments( i think i gained muscles on my arms after the whole day..) haha.. Thereafter, we set off for victoria concert hall..

At the hall, duh, we had rehearsals.. it was bout 3++ when we started rehearsals i think... I was already damn nervous for my jungle fantasy solo la.. Rehearsals onli leh.. I scared liao.. We runned through the repertoire.. and for the 1st time.. I kinda enjoyed dancing in the wind-Kaze no mai.. Cos of the hall's echoy effect i think.. But the onli part i didnt enjoy of that song is Part F of that song.. After we finished that song.. Xinhui came to the side of the stage and talked to me... " Don't tighten ur embrochure too much.. Cos wad i hear is Air....Relax a bit.. Don stress" haha. But sorry senior, I was very nervous at that time.. Very. Haha.. So, damn tense la.. Cos this is my first time standing in front of 888 pp and play solo during jungle fantasy.. Cos after this piece is that song liao.. aaaaaaaaa!! But during the rehearsals.. I thinked i kinda screw up a little .. haha.. Then we all practiced with the alumni.. I realli admire and should learn lots from them...During the combined alumni and main band.. They were so awesome.. I was sitting inside in the 1st row.. So couldnt kinda see me.. haha.. They can keep so calm and as though nothing has happened and played beautifully.. aww man, so awesome!! The rest went to roam around the hall. But me And wei jun stayed and heard the junior band. They sounded fantastic for juz being sec 1s.. I think is again of the echoy effect.. They played not bad.. And the clarinet choir.. Woa!! Super nice.. haha.. It was time for dinner.. and for the 1st time in band!! I enjoyed the dinner lots.. It was packet food and it was separated into different columns.. and all was like japanese food style la.. damn nicce.. Superb.. No more fried rice.. haha! Time by then: 6.00.. Gotta go change.. time: 6.20: Flutesection reported to the hall with all the other sections for a group photo.. together wif the alumni and junior band..


Time: 7.30- Concert time.. all of us were like shakin hands wishing each other good luck, jia you and all that stiff. I was trying to keep my cool by keeping myself hot.. cos if i am cold and nervous.. I am gonna be doomed.. the tone will be like shit.. haha..SO I shook hands wif lotssa pp.. Oboes.., My whole section, erm,.. Bass claRS.. lower winds, erm,.. Clarinetists.. and lotss.. then the concert started..

1st song - Theme from new york, new york- Played by the junior band.. Bravo.. They did well.. Kai ping, stacey, Joanne.. Proud to have u.. U all did well. Bravo.. for sec 1s.. You are one of the best that i could ever have.. all right.. All of u muz work together with each other and the sec 2s.. Bu ran, The section will crumble.. kks.. The section needs unity to work together.. SO jia you!!

2nd song- Bandology-played by the Mainband- It was quite all right la.. But still can keep my cool at that song.. That song is a cheerful piece..but i find that i couldnt pitch too high notes.. Unless it's a build up.. But it was quite nice on the whole..

3rd song- Romanesque-Played by the mainband- Boring song.. can sleep.. But I think the piece was all right.. Cos.. That piece helps as a warm up for us.. cos full of long notes... Quite all right.. Though me and qi yun's tuning were a little not in tune.. Guessis nervous la..

4th song- John william's in concert- played by the main band- Woohoo.. This piece was fun.. the first song in that piece was e.t and the mission theme, quite cheerful, songs. then the imperial march.. I was playing the melody with zhi hao, amanda and hil.. then all of a sudden,. A few sec 1 s popped out of nowhere and started fighting with their light sabers.. kinda cool la.. haha.. The audiemce reacted strong and clapped.. Then it was catina band.. This cheereful song with a quait feel.. then the olympic spirit.. this part, Joanne and stacey(me juniors) suddenly took a torch.. and started running aroud the hall.. damn funny la.. I had a silent laugh.. then it was jaws.. this creepy eerie song.. which we screamed like siao.. haha.. the e.t again- got qiyun solo.. Quite nice.. COngrats girl.. well done.. and then end.. By that time.. I was qute nervous already

5th song- Dance of the wind-Kaze-no-mai... I don't think we played that well for the piece but out of 5 stars, i would give it a 3 star or 2 and a half also can... But I think i was too nervous to think of anything.. And butterflies were like flutterin in me stomach liao.. but on the whole, i think it was quite all right la.. But then again, we muz seriously BUCK UP!!!! aaaaa!! lalala..

6th song- Jungle fantasy-Played by e main band again... I was loosing my cool and my hand s were coming out leng han... I was pretty scared.. Started wif the bongo solo.. and Then jugle noises.. I get to use the bird whistle my yeye give me.. haha... then flute soli in front.. i was playing half way the soli when suddenly.. Kai ping popped out in her rabbit costume with some other animals.. I was laughing silently and couldnt help but put down my flute for a while and laughed(quietly)..then there was a medium section to show how mysterious the jungle is and then SAMBA.. I kinda enjoyed the tune.. But then I knew 1 thing.. My Solo(doomsdday) was approaching.. and more and more butterflies were fluttering and wild thoughts were circulating in my brain like convection currents.. da da..... da da da da.. da da da da.. da... da...... da da....................................... LA LA LA LA~~~~~( glizzando).. cLARINET TRAILS.. clarinet trails.. uh oh.. Solo time.. I was nervous and reluctant to leave my chair.. But bo bian and went out to stand beside mrs chua and play( I acidentally stepped on Qiyun shoe . Sorry, i know it muz be pain.. I was pretty nervous liao ma..) Starting i onl heard a faint clap( But when i heard the recording, the clap was LOUD!!, veri happy, I knew it muz be the work of 2E4 pp, U all rawkz for ever la..)and juz played.. I was pretty nervous and my hands were cold and luckily got 1 part where i alway run out of breath and i didnt!! yeeah!! hahaa.. SO happy and the running notes part.. I MANAGED TO DO IT properly without runnin out of breath and play...And when i finished.. the clap was booming.. almost went deaf.. 2E4 2005rawkz.. i love u kks 4 ever.. This will be 1 moment where i will never forget.. the the perc soli.. We all had to make jungle noises and i made monkey.. haha.. then all the way to the end.. haha.. then intermision..

During the intermission, i recieved roses from hui zhen and manning.. TY!!=DDD.. then i went to look for my famm.. then natasha and sharol, down there.. Pimple freak.. Ur solo stinks haahhaa.. And all that stiff, but i juz treat it as er bian feng.. COs i am their bro and kno that they DON appriciate music.. Then i recieved a flower from lester.. ANd he said was from 2e4 pp.. OMG.. i so wanna say sorry to 2e4 pp.. I never go look for u all.. I heard that kef was hunting round the place to look for me..-_-.. crycry.. So sorry... I 4got to go and see 2e4.. I know u all are the best la.. SO sooooorYy!! cry cryc ry... THanks for the flowers though..Reallli?? U will forgive me??!! YAY!! ty!!

then it was the clar choir and alumni.. Both are all soooooo fantastic.. 1 of the pieces the clar choir played was super maril theme.. Supeerrrrr cool!! WHEN the alumni came.. Fl and sax worked together and shouted all the flute alumni and sax alumni names haha.. Hope u acan hear us... they are all so awesome.. and li hong played solo in 1 life, so beautifully and he can keep his cool.. Woa.. Teach me how u do it leh.. haha

then the combine band- Both all rawked.. The zodiac was nice.. We get to scare the audiece at part G( My dad say got heart attack).. haha.. and at rawk and roll hll of fame.. We all rawked la.. The hafeez, hakeem, taufik and han yang dance.. Whew.. SEXY!!!! woo...~~ hha. The encore piece we all did Hey baby and we sang , screamed shout laugh.. it was already a long time since i did that so hard.. hha...kks. th ty and all that will be at next post..
